Principal Copywriter, Snap

• A deep understanding of popular and internet culture, behaviors and trends
• Knowledge of the culture that impacts marketing across key channels
• Ability to build honest, direct relationships with cross-functional colleagues and outside partners

• Solid initiative, attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and diligent attention to detail
• 12+ years experience as a hands-on creative with demonstrable experience working as a copywriter (in-house, freelance or agency)
• 2+ years experience in a creative leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful campaigns and innovative, high-impact projects
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

• Proactively navigate a complicated cross-functional marketing organization
• Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and new technologies to keep Snap’s work innovative and relevant
• Craft strong copy solutions that efficiently and accurately represent new products, features, and company developments to the world
• Be responsible for the craft, execution, and elevating the quality of a range of copywriting projects
• Utilize Snap’s creative tools to create and modify existing and new content for cross-channel usage
