Customer Success Associate, Vestd

From the first day I joined Vestd I've been on an intense learning journey and this hasn't shown signs of stopping. The industry, the complex area of equity and share schemes, the constantly-improving product, and the new opportunities that arise create a dynamism that I haven't experienced before. The team works remarkably hard both independently and collaboratively, and the purpose behind this effort is ever present. We are constantly encouraged to deepen our knowledge and experience in all areas.

Support from management has been incredible. Bi-monthly 1-2-1s, monthly reviews, along with more formal career progression interviews every 6 months create an environment for true growth and authentic relationships. You feel like your manager has your back and will fight for your growth within the team and the company. Any toxic or archaic hierarchy has been stamped out and replaced with a more holistic, encouraging, and customised-to-the-individual support system.

My immediate team as well as the wider Vestd team are an incredible bunch of people, constantly striving to better understand the complex problems within the industry. While we are encouraged to push the boundaries with our learning and understanding in a work context, we are also encouraged to share where our interests lie outside of work, no matter where they lie on the intellect level. We have a supportive, intelligent, curious, and hardworking group of people here at Vestd.

Autonomy is one of our core values. We have a lot of flexibility in how we plan our day to day tasks, how we approach customers, and how we learn. It ensures that I'm working to the best of my ability and making time for side projects I care about.

Even as we grow, there is a lot of employee engagement and company-wide meetings to ensure that we are all communicating with one another and expressing our opinions.

We have great benefits, including health insurance. There is a lot of flexibility to schedule appointments in your day within reason or prioritise extracurriculars that you may have to travel to.

If you have an area of the business you'd like to know more about, reaching out to people and working with them is encouraged, rather than needing to go through loads of different managers for permission just to shadow someone for 1 hour

Vestd's very good for acknowledging that good ideas can come from anywhere, so if you've got any thoughts, even if it would impact the entire company and not just your team, those are welcomed and you often have the opportunity to work on those

Managers of any level are happy to add some time in with you if you need anything, and I've had open conversations about where they see the company going and potential opportunities that may open up

I feel very supported at Vestd; by my own manager who's always there to help as well as others in leadership roles. I really do think managers will go out of their way to build relationships and accommodate the team.

There's a great deal of autonomy here which provides lots of opportunities to learn. There's also a good variety of teams with specialist knowledge you can dip into, and we even have an annual personal learning allowance.

Our CEO & Founder meets with each new member of the team when they join to build a connection and communicate our mission. He's also visible and approachable throughout the week and makes time to attend stand ups, social calls and lead regular team retros.

Vestd really do believe in the power of sharing ownership and they walk it like they talk it. I'm experiencing the impact of the ownership effect myself having for the first time in my life received a stake in the company. It's had a big impact on my outlook. I'm engaged, motivated and eager to play my part in spreading the word about the awesome power of shared ownership.

This is probably the nicest group of people I've ever worked for which in itself makes for excellent wellbeing. There's always opportunity to share issues and concerns and these are always heard and acted upon. Fundamentally this stuff comes from the top down and it was clear as soon as I joined that Ifty genuinely cares about his team and wants us all to be happy and fulfilled in what we're doing.

Being able to work from home immediately makes family life slightly easier for so many reasons. Vestd are especially family friendly in my opinion. My son frequently wonders in, singing to himself when I'm on calls. There's no judgement, it's just part of life. They're also ace in regards to flexible working and this is incredibly beneficial when your kid drops some kind of bomb on your day!

At Vestd, everyone's opinions are heard. We have monthly full company retros where a variety of topics are votes on and discussed, with actions taken to continuously improve.

The work is challenging and rewarding. The subject matter is often complex meaning we are always looking for innovative ways to makes things easier for our users and improving the functionality on the platform.

Everyone you work with at Vestd are highly motivated, friendly and wanting to succeed in making a great product and helping customers. There is a real sense of 'team' here. Colleagues are always willing to help out and share their knowledge which makes for a great working environment and company culture.

They never micromanage or give overload. We always can take enough time to deliver good work, management is always supportive if any blockers or if any issues.

All people in Vestd are very nice people. We always have meetings to get in touch with everybody. Our voices are valuable always. All are supportive to each other and friendly.

Management is very supportive. If we face any issues in work or any blockage, there are solutions and they are all supportive. There are regular one to one meeting with manager to let them know if we are facing any issues or any feedback/suggestions from us.

Everyone is on the same page at Vestd. Hardworking, honest and fighting for the same goal. Family feel to the company and everyone is approachable. Great place to work!

Vestd is built on trust and gives you the flexibility to manage your own work load. Everyone in the company has a tremendous work ethic and still has the time to help new starters and make them feel welcome. Very caring culture.

Love the energy at Vestd. The culture is if you have an idea, get it out there. Everyone listens and it has a very entrepreneurial spirit to the business which is great.

I'm trusted to follow my initiative, work freely and take ownership. There's a mutual understanding among us that each person contributes to the big picture in their own way.

Remote working works for me! Working from home means that I can take care of 'life admin' and my mental and physical wellbeing in the hours I would have spent commuting. And as a creative, having that flexibility allows me to work when I'm at my most productive.

Vestd's mission is a no brainer. I'm a firm believer that without a team, you wouldn't have a business. So, why wouldn't you want your team to share in the company's success? It's about making business fairer, and I'm on board!

Although completely remote we all get together when we can and have many digital social events in the meantime. Fabulous and dynamic team.
