Who you are
- Experienced in 3+ years of hi-tech, cycle direct sales
- Experience scaling SDR teams and leading through transformation (from high volume to high quality prospecting tactics)
- Familiar with SaaS, Cloud and Cyber/AI concepts
- Experience with Salesforce, SEPs (SalesLoft/Outreach), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn SalesNav
- Passionate about coaching, mentorship, team management and stakeholder partnerships
- A self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace
- Proven in your track record of success exceeding personal and team quotas
- Able to work cross-functionally, leveraging your organizational and time management expertise

What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Manager, you will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance to a team of SDRs, ultimately driving revenue
- This available role impacts one of the largest lines of business in the company through pipeline generation, and contributes to molding the future talent and leaders of Darktrace
- This leader will play a key role in the strategy and execution of Darktrace’s Sales Development Academy
- Hire, oversee, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives
- Forecast performance based on team productivity, as well as drive productivity gains over time
- Develop and monitor successful outbound prospecting strategies
- Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success
- Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices
- Work alongside SDR Director to ensure promotion readiness for tenured SDRs
- Cross-collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Talent and RevOps to align on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculums, and meet performance and hiring goals
