Who you are
- Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis of functional and business requisites utilizing technologies including Python, SQL, Tableau, and Databricks
What the job involves
- Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in San Mateo, CA to help company discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, making more thoughtful decisions and contextual relevance in order to deliver even better gaming experience
- Orchestrating collaboration with fellow data scientists and engineering groups to ensure seamless and accurate data processing
- Pioneering and enacting data modeling strategies, as well as operationalizing novel experiment designs and key performance indicators (KPIs) aimed at refining data models
- Carrying out statistical analyses to evaluate and quantify operational and technical challenges, drawing input from both end-users and partner teams
- Harnessing advanced Data Science approaches to devise and oversee experiments with the objective of enhancing model performance and generating insightful recommendations
- Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE

Regardless, PlayStation shows no signs of slowing down. The upcoming implementation of in-game ads in free games looks to significantly increase revenue, and the wider PlayStation gaming experience also appears to be evolving from plans to launch live service games in upcoming years.
