Role
Who you are
- A natural sales person and leader with at least 2 years’ experience in the field
- You are English native, or speak the language at a mother-tongue level and have lived experience of the British culture and ways of communicating
- You know how to multi-task (stepping into someone's shoes if needed) and have a high resilience and you are open minded
- You are confident to work with people in other countries and across all seniority levels
- You are a people person and comfortable proactively contacting customers who have shown an interest in the WeRoad product
- You are highly enthusiastic: an all-star communicator, able to transmit your energy and personality into your online, written and face-to-face interactions
- You are ambitious: you love having a target to reach and exceed and are self-motivated to achieve results
- You are sociable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- You love traveling, learning and meeting new people - i.e. you have the WeRoad spirit!
- Your are good with google sheets, PPT, data analysis and take an analytical approach in everything you do
What the job involves
- This is a maternity leave cover role for 12 months
- However, with our ambitious growth and expansion targets, if you are great there may be an opportunity to become a permanent part of the team in the future
- Working with our Regional Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of WeRoad in all English speaking market
- First and foremost, you’ll be our sales expert, with the primary task of hunting down and converting leads through all our channels
- You’ll be the first point of contact for our WeRoaders and will be in contact with them through all major customer channels (Facebook, Instagram, Zendesk, Whatsapp, phone and more)
- You’ll work closely with our Sales and Customer Care Team to develop a sales strategy, and develop best practices for sourcing and converting WeRoaders
- You’ll find creative ways to generate new leads, build and utilize your network and optimize the most effective channels for interaction with potential WeRoaders
- You’ll keep the sales process organized by maintaining and updating an efficient sales pipeline and record of interaction with customers
- You’ll be an expert on all of our adventures, able to give tailored advice to customers who are looking for support in finding and ultimately booking their perfect tour
- You will also be the escalation point of contact for all post sales enquiring, ensuring travellers enquires and feedback are answered in a timely manner and taken onboard

Our take
WeRoad was born from the desire to bring together people who want to discover the world in small groups. Each tour has a coordinator who already knows the destination, who takes care of the logistical aspects and invites the participants to get to known each other even before departure by creating a dedicated group on WhatsApp.
The company leverages hundreds of coordinators to allow travellers to reach destinations all over the globe. It stands out from other players in the tourism space in targeting small groups aged 25-35 and 35-45, interfacing directly with travellers, and enabling them to choose their own travel "mood", in order to live the best possible experience.
WeRoad currently operates in Italy, Spain and the UK, with plans for further international expansion. Its growth and success are exemplified by £100 million in revenue in 2024 alongside 200,000 customers and 103 countries booking with it. Its next growth phase will focus on new product innovations such as WeRoadX, thematic trip planning and Weekend Trip itineraries for the Spanish and Italian markets.
