Role
Who you are
- You have ~3+ YOE (including ~1-2 years of experience in strategic management consulting and/or ~ 1-2 years of experience in Business Operations or Strategy roles in high growth startups). Prior experience in Growth function is a nice to have
- You naturally break down complex, unfamiliar problems into well-defined, easy to understand areas of work
- You have a passion for and experience leading projects and working x-functionally with people in an operational/analytical capacity
- You are skilled at navigating complex relationships with senior x-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes; you naturally build win-win relationships that drive mutual success in the long term
What the job involves
- As a leader within Headway’s Revenue Operations org, reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build, shape, and lead an operational function directly responsible for unlocking Headway’s growth to drive provider activation, retention, and share of wallet
- As Headway scales to deliver high quality behavioral healthcare for millions of people across the country, the complexity of the operational landscape within which we operate has also increased exponentially
- To this end, in our journey to build next generation healthcare growth infrastructure, we’re seeking an operational leader to grow and shape a truly mission-critical function responsible for scaling Headway’s growth engine
- This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity that will place you in the driver’s seat to impact business-defining outcomes, and redefine the gold standard for growth operations, while contributing to a world-class team within one of America’s fastest growing startups
- Drive E2E growth of conversion rates at each stage of the funnel (while minimizing churn); including owning and managing forecast model and process of setting / validating quotas
- Build, own, and implement plan to continuously grow and accelerate conversion rates across each step of funnel
- Own, manage, and proactively update growth forecast model (including leadership team updates)
- Leverage competitive intelligence to improve conversion rates, forecasting, analyses, and broader rev ops strategy
- Manage the process of setting and communicating campaign quotas, working closely with Strategic Finance
- Collaborate x-functionally to have an immediate impact on identified areas of opportunity (either by leading projects or working through collaboration with other functions such as: marketing, sales, customer success, and enablement)

Headway connects clients with therapists who accept insurance as payment and provides independent practitioners with the tools and resources needed to serve their patients and manage administrative workloads.
Headway’s concept is timely, with national mental health under particular strain following events from the past few years. The company facilitates over 600,000 appointments per month and has attracted backing from the likes of Accel and Google Ventures.
Covering 16 states and the District of Columbia, the company intends to broaden its presence across the US with over $325M in funding behind it. This is a crucial avenue for further growth, as medical care deserts across the US mean the potential market is vast.
