Role
Who you are
- A Bachelor in Business, Economics or Marketing or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- You have a keen eye for opportunity and love chasing targets
- Communicatively strong and effortlessly build lasting relationships
- Able to use data and insights to advise clients and achieve results
- Show ownership and enjoy thinking about improvement and growth
- Experience with CRM tools and affinity with digital solutions
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required
What the job involves
- As our Accountmanager, your key objective is to manage partner relationships, identify growth opportunities, and optimize our commercial activities
- You will initiate projects and collaborate across departments to improve sales and business development, driving our company to the next level
- Manage and strengthen existing partner accounts
- Actively build new relationships with potential partners
- Work together with our Partner Support Team to identify and solve partner challenges
- Take responsibility for achieving revenue and growth targets
- Work together with the Key Accountmanager to determine the best strategy for managing our partner relations
- Analyze customer needs and market trends to recommend new opportunities to grow our business
- Strengthen the sales process with efficient use of tools such as CRM systems
- Independently identify improvement areas within existing processes and take the lead in implementing solutions
- In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team, which comprises three core areas: Sales B2C & B2B, Customer Service, and Business Development
- Together, these teams are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer and partner satisfaction

Customer logistics, including returns management, can be difficult for large companies to effectively manage. It is still common practice for companies to destroy returned items and overstock as there is no great alternative.
BuyBay was created to bridge this gap, offering a full-service solution for businesses to better serve customers. The company handles & sorts products and resell them to new owners, for the best possible price. The company has quickly differentiated itself in the market through the development of its own algorithms, with clients now including bol.com, blokker, acer, fyf, and dpd.
BuyBay strongly believes in continual innovation and continues to invest into its return management system. In the future, the Amsterdam-based company looks to consolidate existing ties with organisations in the Netherlands and ultimately forge relationships with clients across Europe.
