Senior Software Engineer, Rad AI

• Proficiency in Object oriented programming principles, open-source tools, and a solid grasp of infrastructure as code practices
• Expertise with web frameworks and a thorough understanding of the full life cycle of platform service development
• Skilled in microservices-based architecture, RESTful API design, databases (NoSQL/SQL), and scaling such systems effectively
• Experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Deep knowledge of user management, security, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT), with a focus on infrastructure security best practices
• Networking prowess, expertise with cloud services (AWS or GCP preferred), and command-line proficiency in Linux
• Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done

• Architect and oversee a robust, scalable platform infrastructure, utilizing virtual machines, container orchestration, and serverless applications
• Conduct backend development, including building Rad AI’s backend APIs, server-side services, internal tooling, and public web APIs
• Deliver and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes within HIPAA-compliant environments
• Collaborate with machine learning, data science, and cross-functional teams to refine the platform’s vision, focusing on system reliability and scalability
• Develop and enhance engineering tools to improve productivity, with a strong emphasis on automation and system observability
