Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, process optimization, data analytics, and leadership, with experience in managing large, complex sales organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years of major account P&L sales management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in managing global sales operations functions and teams across multiple regions
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting techniques
- Prior experience in sales with consumer products/consumer durables is preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable impact
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive both short-term and long-term sales growth

What the job involves
- Reports To: Vice President, Sales Operations
- We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic US Sales Operations Director to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our global sales operation functions
- The US Sales Operations Director will be responsible for driving sales performance, aligning sales strategies with business goals, and creating operational efficiencies across our global sales organization
- Develop and manage sales operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives, including sales planning, forecasting and POS attainment
- Collaborate with sales leadership and key business partners to ensure consistency across all regions and markets with the implementation of the Sales Excellence operating model
- Help to execute processes that drive operational efficiency and remove bottlenecks to improve sales productivity
- Establish best practices for global sales operations processes and workflows, ensuring consistency across regions while considering local nuances
- Design and manage sales performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track sales effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with demand planning, finance, strategic sales, and strategic operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Drive forecasting accuracy, sales pipeline management, and territory planning to meet revenue targets
- Serve as a key liaison between the sales team and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment and resolution of any operational challenges
- Lead, mentor, and develop a sales operations team capable of supporting the evolving needs of the sales organization
- Foster a culture "Obsessed with Winning" and being "Outrageously Extraordinary" every single day

Consumer demand for new and better home appliances continues to grow. SharkNinja serves this demand by designing and manufacturing innovative home goods and devices. Specifically, it has a growing line of solutions that consist of Shark cleaning and home care products and Ninja kitchen appliances.
SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.
SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
