Role
Who you are
- Proven Expertise: Experience in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient web applications
- Proactive Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and deliver effective solutions
- Programming Proficiency: Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks for both client-side and server-side development
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database concepts (e.g. relational databases and query optimisation)
- Version Control: Familiarity in Git and version control workflows for team collaboration
- Web Development Skills: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with building responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
- API Development: Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in their design and implementation
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus but not required
- Collaboration Skills: A team player who communicates effectively and works well with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability: Eager to learn and apply new technologies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- Relationship Building Excellence: Demonstrated ability to engage and maintain relationships at all levels, with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

What the job involves
- Full Stack Development: Assist in building and maintaining web applications, ensuring seamless integration between front-end interfaces and back-end systems
- Front-End Contributions: Develop user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks, ensuring a clean, intuitive and engaging user experience
- Back-End Development: Design and implement APIs, server-side logic, and database structures to enable robust and scalable functionality
- Code Review and Testing: Collaborate with team members to review code, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Feature Development: Design and develop new features, addressing user needs and business goals
- System Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, scalability and reliability
- Bug Fixes: Identify and resolve software defects, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems
- Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to your work to deliver innovative solutions
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver exceptional results
