Who you are
- 3+ years of quota carrying sales experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Dedication to and commitment to personal and professional growth
- This role has both hunting (new clients) and farming (handling and managing existing clients) - someone comfortable with both aspects, and strong closing skills required
- Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
- Previous experience in the PV industry will be a significant advantage
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms
- A distinct customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of CRM tools to drive productivity
What the job involves
- SolarEdge is looking to add a superstar Inside Sales Account Executive for the North America Sales Team
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a lucrative territory, closing new customers and generating revenue while achieving individual goals
- Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives
- Actively pursue both inbound and outbound prospecting leads to generate new business among long-tail residential solar installers
- Set up virtual training meetings for installers
- Manage and grow sales opportunities with long-tail accounts in your territory quarter over quarter
- Develop and maintain relationships with distribution channels, and in field sales reps
- Understand customer needs and offer solutions for inverters and home storage solutions
- Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required
- Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics for their installations
- Successfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brand
- Liaise with the U.S. and global executive management team and peers to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
- Maintain all information in CRM
- Call Lost Installer to regain business back

Solar energy is quickly becoming big business, as nations worldwide commit to greener power and back those promises with serious investment. With billions on the table, compeititon is fierce (and innvation is the name of the game. Among the frontrunners cashing in on this clean-energy boom is SolarEdge.
With strings of solar energy harvesting panels, central inverters typically limit string output to the level of the lowest performing panel, which isn’t optimal: one shaded panel can pull down the performance of the entire string. SolarEdge’s innovation is to install power optimizers on each panel, thereby both tracking the maximum power point at the modular level, and allowing for more granular performance monitoring.
From there, SolarEdge has developed out into a wealth of clean energy solutions worldwide - most recently unveiling its ONE Controller at Intersolar Europe 2025.
