Customer Marketing Specialist, 7shifts

• 4-5 years of experience in customer, growth, or lifecycle marketing within a SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (we use Marketo!)
• Exceptional copywriting and creative skills with a customer-first mindset
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Brand teams
• A test-and-learn mindset— constantly experimenting with messaging, creative, and audience segmentation
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

• As the Customer Marketing Specialist, you will help drive customer engagement, retention, and expansion through strategic marketing initiatives
• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, you’ll take a product-led approach to engage customers, drive retention and expansion, and turn them into loyal advocates, while increasing product adoption and revenue growth
• You’ll develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies, craft compelling messaging, and collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Brand teams to create seamless, impactful customer experiences
• Develop and implement customer retention, advocacy, and expansion strategies to create new opportunities and achieve revenue goals
• Plan and execute high-impact campaigns across email, push, in-app, and other channels to engage customers
• Test and optimize lifecycle marketing initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to align efforts with business objectives
• Craft compelling copy and strategically segment audiences for highly targeted and effective communication
• Own and scale our customer-led growth program, leveraging satisfied customers to drive referrals and reviews
• Analyze customer behavior data to uncover new ways to enhance the customer journey and boost lifetime value
• Work cross-functionally with teams to drive opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and deepening customer engagement through product adoption
• Provide key stakeholders with actionable insights through reporting to drive strategic decisions across the company
• Define and track key performance indicators including trials, conversions, MRR growth, and referral volume to measure marketing success
