Who you are
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of treasury management principles, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of treasury management principles, including cash flow forecasting, investment management, and foreign exchange risk management
- Experience with treasury management systems (e.g., TMS) and other financial software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with and coordinating with remote teams, particularly in India, is a plus
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
What the job involves
- The Treasury Manager is a key member of the Finance team responsible for managing the company's cash flow, investments, and banking relationships
- This role will play a critical role in optimizing the company's liquidity, minimizing financial risk, and ensuring efficient and secure financial operations
- Monitor cash balances across all bank accounts and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations
- Manage cash flow forecasting and prepare cash flow projections
- Oversee the movement of funds between bank accounts, including domestic and international transfers
- Manage bank relationships, including negotiating fees and terms, and resolving banking issues
- Manage access to bank accounts and ensure appropriate levels of authorization
- Manage the company's investment portfolio, including working with and monitoring external investment advisors
- Ensure compliance with investment policies and guidelines
- Monitor investment performance and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments
- Manage foreign exchange risk by implementing appropriate hedging strategies
- Monitor and analyze foreign exchange rates and their impact on the company's financial performance
- Oversee and manage the flow of funds between subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate intercompany settlements
- Implement and maintain treasury management systems and tools
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of treasury data
- Collaborate closely with the India-based accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate cash flow management. This requires meeting with India team, that maybe early in the morning or late in the evening
- Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Tax, Operations, and Legal, on treasury-related matters
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

Tekion is offering an enticing remedy - a cloud-based automotive retail system that integrates the various software applications in a single infrastructure.
Competition has been strong, with rivals CDK Global and Reynolds & Reynolds offering a competitive raft of features, and benefiting from strong prior relationships with dealerships. Tekion, however, has nevertheless secured customers for the software in 28 states - likely in part due to the efficiency of partnering with a single growing service as opposed to a disparate spread.
This momentum shows no signs of slowing either, as Tekion has attracted attention from major players like CMC, Chrysler and Chevrolet. By streamlining dealership operations into a single platform, the company is proving that even in a crowded market, innovation and simplicity can win. Its recent release of AI agents and an AI interface also shows it is moving with the times.
