Who you are
- You should have a strong interest in technology, data, and how software systems work in practice, with a willingness to learn on the job
- A basic understanding of data structures, APIs, system integrations, databases, or cloud-based systems would be beneficial, but you are not expected to be an expert as this is an intern-level role
- You should be comfortable working with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint and be interested in developing skills in areas such as data analysis, scripting, system configuration, or technical troubleshooting
- Attention to detail, logical thinking, and problem-solving ability are important, as you will be working with technical information, data, and systems
- Good communication skills are also important, as you will need to clearly document your work and collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members while you learn and develop in the role
- This role is suitable for a current student or recent graduate, ideally from a Business, IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, or related background. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
What the job involves
- We are a growing startup seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Delivery Consultant Intern to support the delivery of technology projects for our clients
- This role offers hands-on experience working at the intersection of business and technology, helping to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
- The role has a strong technical and data focus and will provide exposure to real client delivery environments, systems, and datasets, while working under the guidance of experienced consultants and technical leads
- In this role, you will support the technical delivery of client projects by assisting with activities such as data analysis, system configuration, testing, and technical documentation
- You will work with datasets, APIs, and system integrations to help ensure data flows correctly between platforms and that technical solutions are implemented as designed
- You will assist with gathering and documenting technical and business requirements, helping to translate business needs into clearly defined tasks and deliverables
- You will support project tracking by helping monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies, and assist with preparing client updates and delivery documentation
- The role will also involve supporting technical research, investigating new tools or technologies, and helping to document technical processes, architectures, and delivery procedures
- You may also assist with monitoring system performance, reviewing logs, and identifying potential issues, escalating them to senior team members where appropriate
- As an intern, you will work closely with experienced consultants and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real delivery work in a supported learning environment
- In this role, you will gain real-world experience within a fast-paced startup environment and develop a strong understanding of client-facing project delivery
- You will receive mentorship from experienced consultants, helping you to build both technical and business skills
- This internship will provide valuable exposure to how technology solutions are delivered in practice, along with the potential opportunity to progress into a full-time role
- As an intern, you will have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in how technical delivery is carried out within a growing startup environment
- You will work closely with experienced technical consultants and delivery leads, gaining hands-on experience while learning how real client projects are delivered from start to finish
- The role will allow you to develop practical technical, data, and consulting skills while contributing to work that creates real and measurable value for customers

Our take
SeeChange Technologies delivers visual AI for the retail space, with solutions that can help stores to enhance safety and efficiency for employees and shoppers. Already used by a number of clients, including supermarket chain ASDA, the platform processes videos from a retailer's existing hardware to automatically identify hazards and analyse behaviours.
The platform is built upon state-of-the-art AI recognition technology that can interpret the real world and understand physical activity. Through this, it provides insights into objects and people in-store. Though its most interesting application is in identifying potential theft and safety concerns such as spills, it can also be used to streamline self-checkouts, and proactively restock items.
Having raised substantial funding in 2023, SeeChange Technologies is moving to enhance its commercial deployment capabilities and build out commercial and support teams. With such an intriguing offering, it is very likely the company will continue to secure new clients as it moves into its next stage of growth.
