Assistant Controller, Rula

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required
• 12+ years of experience in accounting, including Big 4 public accounting and corporate experience in a high growth environment
• 4+ years of experience in a leadership capacity managing, mentoring, and overseeing performance of teams
• Expertise managing month-end and financial operations
• Proven proficiency spearheading systems and process improvement, including ERP and automation tools
• A strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements

Desirable

• Rula is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee Rula’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, process improvements, and a faster month-end close
• This role will manage a team of six individuals, implement automation and system enhancements, and collaborate across Finance, Financial Operations, Procurement, and external partners
• You’ll play a key role in streamlining operations, reducing the month-end close from eight to five days, and supporting major initiatives like implementing a new chart of accounts and procurement system
