Role
Who you are
- Knowledge and awareness of the relevant statutory and legislative issues relating to wayleaves
- Experience working to delivery timescales and the confidence to challenge delays in process
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised and disciplined
- Motivated and driven team player
Desirable
- Telecoms experience
- Good understanding of Wayleaves and the challenges that are present in the delivery of a Fibre network
- Adaptable and have experience in handling data
What the job involves
- To take lead responsibility for major wayleave projects
- Provide wayleave support, training and guidance to the business where required
- Review the wayleave processes and suggest improvements to the business
- Oversee and negotiate bespoke wayleave agreements
- Develop strong working relationships with the Sales and Customer Success Management teams to ensure on-time delivery for the requested wayleaves

Vorboss is a UK fibre network company hoping to provide precisely this.
Vorboss’ focus is on enterprise clients, which means the current roll-out of its network in London is a smart move. It’s the digital enterprise hub of the UK, so there’s a substantial market to capture. The only issue is, Vorboss will have to wrestle it from the hands of two major incumbents: Openreach, and Virgin Media’s own cable network.
Vorboss’ focus on enterprise is an exclusive one, however, so unlike these two major competitors, it’s possible this new network can cling more closely to enterprise requirements. With its first deployment resulting in a 700 km fibre optic network across Central London, it has now partnered with IT company Roc Solutions to roll out more networks across the city. With the UK in the midst of a fibre transition, it's the right time to be challenging the incumbents.
