Our take
As public health shot to the forefront of the world’s attention, there was an equal rise in the need for innovative public health technologies. While the disinfection space had been largely bypassed by technology, R-Zero was born to disrupt the entire industry.
R-Zero offers automated ultraviolet-based disinfecting hardware that provides continuous disinfection to an area, providing protection against infectious diseases such as coronavirus, influenza, norovirus, and E. coli.
While UV tech has long been used in hospitals, it was too expensive to be deployed in businesses or schools, the company’s cost-effective alternative can be found in senior care facilities, schools, restaurants, sports arenas, and more, with top organizations across the private and public sectors as clients.
The fast-growing company has raised significant capital through its first few funding rounds. Its strategic, early acquisition of room occupancy sensor company CoWorkr and scalable tech have R-Zero well-placed to see substantial growth.
