Role
Who you are
- A natural born seller - This is a junior sales position for those with the gift to sell
- Ability to articulate yourself well on the phone while sounding positive, engaging and convincing
- A passion to succeed and achieve top results with a charismatic, positive, “can-do” attitude
- Online advertising sales background, SaaS sales or digital knowledge is a plus
- Must have at least 1-2 years of sales experience
- Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is preferred
- Must be a self-starter, possess high energy and focus, and be competitive in nature
- Must have the ability to quickly adapt to new processes or directions
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- As a Local Sales Account Executive, you are enthusiastic about reaching, and exceeding monthly quotas, as well as maintaining a high-level of daily activity to properly maintain a robust pipeline
- Our sales team is competitive and energetic, and as a member of the team, you will be eager to grow within the nation’s number one regional site for creating original content
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals on a consistent basis
- Manage the full sales-cycle, from setting the meeting to pitching to the close
- Conducting outbound sales calls to assigned prospects
- Consistent daily call and email activity that continues to build a plentiful pipeline
- Focus on being a Patch ambassador while building a rapport with prospects in a transactional sales environment
- Provide exemplary customer service/relationship management by working with your account manager
Our take
Offsetting climate emissions is a huge priority for businesses, with motives including conducting sustainable business, meeting government regulations, improving brand image, and saving finances. However, the discovery and logistic process of getting involved with climate action projects can be difficult to navigate.
Patch provides a climate action platform that aims to help businesses meet their carbon footprint goals through a carbon removal project marketplace. In addition to being able to financially contribute to such services, companies can also use Patch's API to embed carbon footprint estimation and removal tools in their product, facilitating climate action through every transaction.
There are many climate action projects that businesses can contribute to financially, but it can be difficult to discover them, and Patch has been smart to make this process simpler. The company is also expanding outside of carbon removal projects, offering projects on its marketplace concerning regenerative agriculture, solar farms, enhanced weathering, and kelp farming. Funds raised by Patch are cited to support hiring and growth, as well as helping to accelerate the development of its technology.
