What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Growth & Innovation Team! This is a great role if you’re excited to serve as a trusted advisor to our prospective customers
  • You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Sales team throughout the sales process
  • By understanding our prospective customers’ functional and technical needs, you’ll build and deliver engaging demos that make complex topics feel simple
  • Technical Discovery: You will partner closely with our Sales team to understand the sustainability goals and software needs of our prospective customers. You will lead the technical side of discovery, mapping out the customer’s current software stack and designing the customer’s ideal solution. You will create roadmaps that start with seamlessly ingesting the customer’s product information into Latis, and end with pushing sustainability data from Latis to other applications where the customer wants to engage with it. To design these solutions, you will be well versed in our fast-growing partner ecosystem and incorporate the most relevant partners into every sales proposal
  • Custom Demos: You will design, build, and deliver product demos that demonstrate the value of HowGood’s platform. Your main focus will be on complex demos that require some level of tailoring to the customer’s industry vertical, use case, and technical specifications. As a result, you will be at the cutting edge of our product roadmap, learning, mastering, and presenting new product features as soon as they’re built. By being one of the first people to demo new features on live sales calls, you’ll gather valuable feedback to our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams that allow us to continuously improve our offering and positive impact on the planet
  • Technical Handover: Once a deal is signed, you will collaborate with our Sales team to ensure a smooth internal handover. Your focus will be on the handover to our technical delivery teams. By sharing what you’ve learned about the customer’s software stack, sustainability and product data, and key technical stakeholders, you’ll allow our delivery teams to hit the ground running and accelerate the customer’s onboarding journey
