Who you are

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with a preference in Data and Analytics
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in data analysis / data engineering
Strong expertise with SQL
Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies
Experience with NodeJS, Python and version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable
Excellent communication skills

What the job involves

As a pivotal member of our Technology Team, you will contribute significantly to our company's growth by developing usage analytics to product and customer success teams to help us drive the product forward and contribute to the success of our customers
This role will also be responsible for bringing a critical eye to our customer reporting and analytics and helping provide guidance to the relevant parties in order to report on and achieve the results they are looking for
Data specialist for the Altify Product
Analyze product usage to support our Product and Customer Success teams, including the use of ad hoc SQL queries and profiling usage changes over time
Data engineering to transform usage data for use by other systems within Upland
Maintenance and extension of our usage data collection and processing system using AWS serverless technologies
Review how customer reporting and analysis requirements impact the Altify data model and usage logs and work with the development team to implement any changes
Keep abreast of Salesforce technologies which we employ as part of our toolkit
Ensure that all relevant parties are kept up to date on the progress of projects and give feedback on an ongoing basis
