What the job involves
- You will join our Miami-based Sales team
- Your job is to break down the door, the ceiling, and the walls to find organizations, schools, clubs, and teams where we can make a difference where we can help
- A talented support team is at the ready. However, the Outside Sales team expects to generate sales from good, old-fashioned sales work
- Your sales work will be outbound calling, cold calling, remote meetings via Google Meet, or the like, but will also include travel to the targeted areas in our attack strategy
- Expect 10-15 days of travel per quarter. You will join our Miami-based Sales team
- Accelerating our Outside Sales growth in the United States
- Manage outbound lead lists, E-mail, inbound, and outbound calls
- Enrich outbound lead lists to better come in contact with decision-makers
- Creating customers and draft orders in our system. Identifying and defining customers' needs to improve our Outside Sales offense
- Meet with potential customers remotely and quarterly or bi-quarterly on-location meetings in specific geographic areas across Italy. (Expected travel length is 3-5 days, 6-7 times during the year)
Our take
Statistics is a huge part of sports, from improving tactics based on the analysis of training sessions to the live-tracking of match events by fans. However, collecting the relevant in-game data for the analysis of a game is almost impossible to keep up with, limiting the breadth of information that can be learned from and shared.
Veo provides sports live-streaming camera technology that allows sports teams to automatically broadcast games, whilst AI analyzes the gameplay to produce statistics. These statistics are aggregated into analytic dashboards that help teams uncover actionable insights from the statistics of games, in addition to providing viewers with crucial real-time updates.
Whilst Veo is not the first company to use technology to provide AI-driven sports statistics, the company’s technology relies solely on cameras as opposed to smart sports apparatus, allowing the solutions to be applied to any ball game. The company aims to boost viewership and engagement between sports teams and their fans, whilst providing teams with the analysis tools necessary to learn from their gameplay on a granular level. In 2023, Veo partnered with several UK county football associations to drive engagement with their respective fans.
