What the job involves

Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

You’ll work side by side with the Founder
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in estate agency - or scaling online business - and potentially time in financial services (mortgages)

Doorsteps is an online estate agency offering reduced fee packages to sell a property. Their product allows home sellers to save thousands of pounds compared to a traditional high street estate agent.

The founder started Doorsteps whilst still in school when he identified a huge gap in the market to offer a much lower-priced service by changing the way estate agencies were set-up. He used a £7,000 loan from his family to launch a platform that combined the human face of high street agents with a unique online infrastructure.

Doorsteps has now marketed tens of thousands of homes with a combined value of £1 billion, showcasing properties on leading property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
