Our take

Cashless payments are convenient, but using your credit cards while travelling has proven to be quite troublesome. As every card has so many pros and cons, it has become nearly impossible to keep track of all the benefits and hidden fees. VitraCash is setting out to solve this problem by creating a smart wallet that facilitates choosing the right card for each payment.

VitraCard aims to offer an app alongside physical and digital debit cards in order to combine all cards a customer owns. Its AI-driven algorithm will select the best one of their cards to use for payment, taking into consideration FX rates, cashback, insurances, and other aspects.

They have recently raised £330k in a pre-seed funding round, which has been used to launch their app in the summer of 2021. They are an early-stage startup that have already achieved great success and their waitlist currently has over 3000 customers. VitraCash's main priority is to expand its UK customer base and to develop its app in order to be able to serve more users.
