Role
Who you are
- You are a great written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable in new situations with different projects
- Experience building distributed / service oriented / microservice-style and cloud-based application architectures
- Have an understanding of - or implementation experience in - building Twelve-Factor applications, and using Domain Driven Design
- Have experience leveraging micro frontend pattern dynamics
- Experience building enterprise applications, including integration with COTS systems
- You are an Agile practitioner, familiar with extreme programming, test-driven development, pairing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and related techniques
- 8+ years of software development experience
Desirable
- You are a polyglot programmer (you might have used JavaEE, Javascript, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes
What the job involves
- We are looking for a curious, passionate, engaging, and hands-on architect who will help different technology teams to transform and modernize their tech stack to adopt modern architecture practices like micro front ends and microservices
- You are an exceptional, passionate, hands-on architect and will help different teams to transform to realize the benefits of cloud-native applications and architectures on our platform
- You will also work closely with the engineering teams to:
- Provide feedback on and contributions to ongoing projects
- Assist teams in migrating or modernizing tech stack
- Modernize our applications, incrementally improving infrastructure and app architecture techniques
- Work with teams to architect and build new product feature become an agent of change within the engineering team

Our take
4G networks transformed our internet experience with faster speeds and better connectivity, and 5G is now taking this further with even quicker speeds. Although 5G is becoming more common, it remains relatively new and not universally available. Networks offering 5G can be costly and might not always match the features of 4G networks.
US Mobile provides 5G mobile data connectivity in the US, claiming to reach speeds of up to 3GB p/s through eSIMs that can be activated remotely. The company offers a range of plans from cheap "talk and text" to unlimited data packages, the latter of which comes with a variety of perks such as free streaming service subscriptions and free international calls.
Whilst the company will face competition from the growing number of 5G network providers, US Mobile stands out by focusing on providing access to all, from unlimited family 3GB p/s packages to individual basic text and call SIMs. The company also guarantees full US coverage, in addition to providing various group pool packages for families and businesses - features which should see it remain a strong option in the market.
