Role
Who you are
- Customer-Service Background: 1+ years in a high-volume call center, retail, or hospitality environment where you learned to handle challenging conversations with grace
- Bilingual Excellence: Native-level or professional fluency in both Spanish and English in both written and oral communication (must be able to pass a language assessment)
- Resilience & Agility: You thrive in high-volume environments and can pivot quickly between tasks and languages
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort navigating multiple computer screens, CRMs, and chat tools (like Slack) simultaneously
- Communication: A warm, empathetic phone presence with the ability to explain complex medical information in simple, culturally relevant terms
Desirable
- Experience in Healthcare: Previous experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance is a plus
- Remote Readiness: Previous experience working successfully in a remote environment

- At Devoted Health, healthcare equality is at the center of our mission. As a Bilingual Member Outreach Specialist, for our Devoted to Me (D2Me) programs, you are the voice of our brand and a trusted advocate for our Spanish-speaking community; you are the primary link to our members
- Through inbound and outbound calls, you’ll listen to their unique needs and recommend tailored solutions from Devoted’s full suite of services
- You will act as a bridge, helping members navigate a complex healthcare system to ensure they receive the life-saving care they deserve. This isn't just about making calls; it’s about using your gift of language to build "confianza" (trust) and ensure no member of our family is left behind
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET
- Schedules Available: Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM ET OR 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM ET
- Training: 4 weeks of comprehensive, paid virtual training to set you up for success
- Community Advocacy: Conduct high volume of inbound/outbound calls/SMS daily to Spanish and English-speaking members to educate them on vital preventative screenings
- Closing Care Gaps: Use your cultural competency to overcome barriers to care, helping members schedule appointments and navigate their benefits
- Data Integrity: Accurately document member interactions in our systems to ensure seamless care coordination
- Mission-Driven Performance: Meet and exceed outreach goals to ensure our members stay healthy and out of the hospital

Millions of Americans make use of Medicare Advantage plans but with an ageing population, the amount of federal spending on these plans is ever-increasing. Devoted Health is seeking to tackle this problem by offering personalised care and proactive health intervention for people on these plans. By diagnosing conditions early, encouraging healthy behaviours, and supporting recovery from treatment, it hopes to drive down the overall cost of providing healthcare to seniors.
