Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relational database knowledge with Postgres, DB2, or similar
- Experience with some of the following tools
- Java, Python, Bash, Perl, Gradle, Docker, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, GitLab,, GitHub, AccuRev, Jenkins, Ansible, Gradle
What the job involves
- You will work closely with our development team to create, maintain, and improve our build and deployment pipelines
- Your cross-platform development practices will help us grow the platform while keeping invaluable systems running
- Maintain and evolve a code simulation pipeline that executes thousands of hours of scenarios each day
- Develop tools to enhance reporting, tracking, and analysis of the development environment
- Solve challenges across a vast codebase and look for cross-cutting solutions
- Help scale and streamline the build pipeline
- Assist engineers with issues during their development efforts
- Research new tools and frameworks to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices
