What the job involves
- Lassie is looking for a data-and marketing-driven Growth Marketing Manager to join our global Growth team. You will play a key role in ensuring our insurance and platform are the top choices of the majority of people in our target audiences
- You should have some prior experience in the field of performance marketing. We are looking for someone with a curious mind and a passion for performance marketing, especially paid social channels, analytics, and A/B testing and can be proactive in taking corrective actions based on evidence
- Support managing and executing the user acquisition campaigns across paid media channels, especially Paid Social (Meta, TikTok)
- Working together with the local Brand managers and designers to ensure a consistent creative strategy
- Using AI (Claude) to speed up processes and tasks
- Monitoring the performance and continuously optimizing the campaigns based on a data-driven approach and learnings from multiple A/B tests (bid strategies, account structure, campaigns)
- Managing performance and post-campaign analysis reporting
- Developing ads with clear USPs (able to draft copy and write clear briefs) with keen attention to detail, taking on an iterative approach together with our designer
- Think outside the box and find areas of growth
Our take
Lassie is aiming to disrupt the pet insurance space with its preventative, mobile app-based insurance for dogs and cats. The idea is to make insurance easier for pet owners, collecting all their policy information in one accessible place, as well as supplying information for them to help their pets lead healthier lives.
Developed in close collaboration with veterinarians and animal care experts, the app gives users access to courses and tips tailored to the breed of their animal, including information on any conditions and diseases that are more prevalent in that breed. The insurance policies are provided by Dina Försäkring, with Lassie acting as an intermediary in that regard.
The pet insurance space is certainly ripe for innovation, with traditional policies often inadequate and confusing, and this is clear in the fact that Lassie is the highest rated pet insurance on Trustpilot. 2023 Series B funding is being used to develop Lassie’s team and products, such as its in-app sale of health products for pets, and expand beyond its core bases of Germany and Sweden.
