Who you are
- You have previous experience in an analytical role
- You have a breadth of experience mapping business questions to data problems
- You are motivated by improving efficiency and effectiveness through automation
- You are driven by the “why” behind the work that you do, always eager to ask an extra question to make sure you’re solving for the right thing
- You have experience managing multiple projects
- You are passionate about data literacy
- You have a proactive mindset and work well in a team environment
- You are strongly proficient in SQL
- You are strongly proficient in at least one BI/Data Visualisation tool (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (called “Senior Operations deployed Analyst” internally) to strengthen our use of data to inform our most business critical decisions
- On a daily basis, you will be working with business leaders across operations and commercial teams to inform how they measure success, how they use data to inform strategic decisions, and ensure they have the data visibility and tools they need to make progress on those strategies every day
- Design and deliver data products within the global operational excellence organization to unlock better operations workflows through automation and improved access to insights
- Generate new ideas for how to leverage the data we have to drive business performance
- Provide data-driven guidance to business leaders on key strategic decisions
- Elevate data literacy across the organisation, with an eye toward consistency, ease of understanding, and educating on the right way to use data in each function
- Elevate the Global Analytics team by sharing best practices and learnings and offering ad-hoc guidance to other team members on their projects

With more than one-third of food wasted in shops and restaurants, tonnes of otherwise quality goods are unnecessarily lost. Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.
The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 90M users across 18 countries and 215,000+ partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.
The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet.
