Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development
- Profficient in web apps (Typescript with ReactJs/NextJs frameworks), .NET backend services and RESTful API services (NestJS)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience building interactive customer-facing interfaces
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, or similar and writing efficient SQL queries
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a growing scale-up environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Retool or similar low-code platforms is a plus
- Experience in health-tech or highly regulated industries is a bonus
What the job involves
- As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be at the heart of building our innovative customer portal, a key component in automating clinical admin tasks for NHS General Practice. You'll work with a dynamic team to design, develop, and optimise a web app that saves clinicians and administrators valuable time - freeing them up to focus on patient care
- From creating intuitive user interfaces for customers to developing internal tools that optimize our workflows, your work will drive real-world change in the healthcare sector. - Design and Build: Create customer-facing web applications and internal tools using TypeScript and modern frameworks, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and secure
- Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET (C#) and Typescript to ensure seamless data flow across systems
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability for our growing platform
- Work closely with our product development team and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions for both customer and internal applications
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
- Engage with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and tool development
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices
- Conduct code reviews and participate in QA processes to maintain high standards
- Produce clear documentation, including process flows and technical specifications
- Support the product roadmap by designing scalable, maintainable features that will evolve as the platform grows
- Collaborate on future enhancements for both the portal and internal tools, integrating new features and improving performance
