Who you are
- Senior level work experience with Java / Kotlin
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Good experience with Relational databases and NoSql (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Experience with programming patterns and microservices architecture
- Exposure to modern and mainstream technology
- Product mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ownership, openness, and commitment
- Full working proficiency in English
Desirable
- Exposure to Vue.js is a plus
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to join one of our development teams and focus on Lightspeed eCom
- You will work on lots of projects that will have a tremendous impact on the daily life of thousands of merchants all over the world
- You will play a key role reinforcing the quality standards in the organization
- You will have a chance to work with some of the smartest people in the company, making an impact on the fastest growing part within Lightspeed
- Creating and extending functionality of our products by contributing to our flagship platform
- Developing clean and highly maintainable code
- Collaborating as part of a team (squad) to deliver product features and functionality
- Engaging with our Product Managers, Architects, Senior/Principal developers, and other stakeholders
- Extending your own skills by learning from and growing with the team
