Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
- 5+ years of managing managers experience
- 10+ years of engineering leadership, including building large-scale customer-facing products
- Technical depth in service-oriented architecture, web client frameworks, data pipelines, and AI/ML
- Experience building products using AI/ML
Desirable
- Experience with 3D rendering - especially in a web client
- Domain experience/knowledge in construction
- Experience building software in an operations-focused business
What the job involves
- As the Director of Product Engineering, you will manage a team of engineers and managers who are responsible for Doxel’s customer-facing application
- You will be a technical leader, setting the vision for the full-stack architecture
- You will partner closely with product managers, designers, operations, and customer success to design and deliver new functionality at scale
- You will organize and grow your team in order to meet the needs of the business
- And you will help team members progress on their individual career paths

Its software captures site imagery, analyses it's against building information models, budgets, schedules and pay application data, and turns that into clear, actionable insights.
This matters in an industry where more than 90% of large projects urn over budget or behind schedule. And while there's no shortage of dashboards in construction, Doxel's edge has always been in its forward-looking insights. Now its doubling down on that positioning with an enterprise agreement with Stream Data Centers, bringing its AI-powered progress tracking across Stream's data centre developments. So, by automatically visualizing the status of every component on site, Doxel aims to helpo teams avoid reowrk, reduce maual reporting and catch bottlenecks early.
The company has already worked with major organizations including Kaiser Permanente and Pennsylvania Chemicals, and this latest enterprise rollout signals growing momentum. As global investment in AI and digital infrastructure accelerates, the pressure to deliver complex builds quickly (and without costly surprises) is only increasing. And Doxel is betting that objective, AI-driven progress tracking will become less of a nice-to-have and more of standard tool on every major job site.
