Product Engineer, Zinc Work

• TypeScript: You’ll be coding backend systems that partners rely on. Strong TypeScript skills ensure you can create efficient, maintainable solutions for real-world use
• API Design: Integrations are at the heart of what we do. Your ability to design scalable, intuitive APIs will be key to enabling seamless connections between Zinc and our partners
• AWS: Our cloud infrastructure supports everything Zinc does. Your familiarity with AWS, especially ECS, ensures our integrations remain fast and reliable at scale
• External APIs: You’ll work with a variety of partner APIs, from JSON to XML. Understanding their quirks will help you build robust connections that “just work.”
• Autonomous Problem Solver: This role is for someone who thrives with high ownership. You’ll be trusted to lead integration projects end-to-end, taking initiative to make decisions and drive impact
• Confident Communicator: You’ll be customer-facing, explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Clear communication ensures smoother onboarding and happier partners
• Collaborative: While you’re the solo owner of integrations, you’ll be deeply embedded in cross-functional work with the Partnerships and Product teams. It’s social, just in a different way

• As a Product Engineer, Integrations Specialist, you’ll be working on integrations that are pivotal to Zinc’s growth

• Even though it’s a solo position, it’s highly collaborative and social in its own way, connecting you with stakeholders across teams and external partners
• Designing integrations with Zinc’s HRTech ecosystem, usually ATS' and HRIS'
• Build and maintain robust, scalable APIs and webhooks that enable seamless data sharing between systems
• Lead onboarding and support for enterprise customers. You will be the go-to person for technical solutions
• Partner with external teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and refine integration workflows
• Work directly with our Partnerships team to ensure Zinc’s API is user-friendly, well-documented, and delivers value
• Influence the API roadmap with feedback from partners and customers
• Liaise with internal teams, from Partnerships, Account Management & Customer Success, to prioritise integration development
• Drive alignment on solutions that balance technical feasibility, customer needs, and business goals
