What the job involves

Kate Farms is in search of a mindful legal assistant to work in the Company’s legal group based in Waltham, Massachusetts
This position will be a key contributor to our legal team, working directly and closely with others in the legal group while collaborating with other departments throughout the Company on a wide range of issues
The selected individual must love to work collaboratively and independently and be highly organized and self-motivated
This is an ideal position for someone looking to break into the legal field, and / or is considering becoming a paralegal
Manage and respond to in-coming legal and contract requests
Implement and develop legal department procedures
Act as executive assistant to General Counsel, provide general support to our legal team, and perform other general administrative tasks
Assist with the Company’s contract function, including managing the contract management system and process, and preparing, reviewing, and processing contracts as needed
Create presentations and communications for the legal team
Perform other day-to-day tasks as needed
Contribute to the success of the legal team and Kate Farms and support our company’s mission
