Product Manager, Plend

• 2–5 years of experience as a product manager (fintech or consumer-facing preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical, business, and customer needs
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Ability to prioritise and lead on technical projects/enhancements, as well as the confidence to think outside the box and make suggestions
• Experience testing, dev tickets, building out feature proposals and squashing bugs
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences
• Ability to spin multiple plates at the same time, hold technical detail in your head
• A ‘doer’ not just a ‘talker’

Desirable

• Helping define the product vision, strategy and roadmap
• Working with Plend internal stakeholders and team leads to make sure their technical solutions are impactful and optimised for efficiency and performance
• Building out the documentation needed to make sure we have a comprehensive picture of where we’re at with each feature and project in Plend
• Working with Data and Operations to understand customer behavior, identify pain points, and prioritize product enhancements
• Turn qualitative insights and quantitative data into clear product requirements
• Work closely with engineering team to provide a clear technical specification for product changes and new features
• Own the product roadmap for one or more core areas of the Plend platform (e.g., borrower onboarding, decisioning engine, repayments, or internal tooling)
• Be the voice of the user, bringing empathy, curiosity, and data-driven thinking to everything you build
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to ensure features meet regulatory and ethical standards
