What the job involves
- Wunderkind is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Product Marketing.
- As a critical leader within Wunderkind’s Product team, this person will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Wunderkind’s product portfolio by developing and executing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and equipping the sales team with the tools needed to excel.
- Reporting to the Vice President of Product, this leader will work cross-functionally to ensure Wunderkind’s solutions are positioned effectively in the market and resonate with our target audiences
- Strategic Leadership: develop and own the product marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company vision, product roadmap, and market opportunities
- Serve as the voice of the customer, using data-driven insights to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align product marketing efforts with Wunderkind’s overall business objectives
- Go-To-Market Strategy: lead go-to-market planning and execution for all product launches, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and readiness
- Define clear value propositions and differentiation strategies for Wunderkind’s products and solutions
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to create tools, training, and resources to support the sales team in effectively positioning and selling products
- Market & Customer Insights: conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities
- Define and refine buyer personas, leveraging customer feedback, user behavior, and data analytics
- Messaging & Positioning: craft compelling messaging frameworks and positioning strategies that resonate with target customers across multiple industries and channels
- Develop high-quality content, including white papers, case studies, and presentations, to support marketing and sales efforts
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results
- Act as a trusted advisor to Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment
- Performance Measurement: define KPIs for product marketing success and regularly report on progress
- Use data to measure the impact of product marketing efforts and optimize strategies accordingly
