Who you are
- The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced trainer with a SaaS background, who is ready to be part of building a Customer and Partner Enablement team from the ground up at a high-growth company
- You should be confident in a variety of delivery methods - including VILT, recording engaging on-demand sessions, custom training and workshops, and more
- You should be passionate about driving great customer experiences, flexible, and creative
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to command a room
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others
- 2-3 years experience providing training, preferably at a SaaS or Technology company
- Tech savvy, analytical, and good problem solver
- Self-starter and quick learner
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate complex business software processes effectively
- Willingness to travel for in-person events and training sessions (up to 30%)
What the job involves
- As a member of this team, this is an opportunity not just to deliver great learning experiences to our customers, but to help shape the processes and systems we need to scale as we grow the team and our offerings
- You'll deliver high-quality learning experiences for a range of audiences, from standard online small group training, to personalized training for Enterprise customers
- Lead virtual 1:Many enablement sessions on the Ironclad product suite, fostering engagement and knowledge retention
- Conduct in-person training, including preparation, delivery, and follow-up activities
- Partner with Instructional Designers to provide content feedback to improve training materials and programs
- Work closely with customers to understand and customize training agenda and content to meet their needs during custom engagements
- Help create and experiment with new scaled/training engagement strategies
- Become an expert on the Ironclad product, so customers can rely on you to answer basic to advanced product Q&A
- Represent Ironclad at in-person events, including travel as needed to support these initiatives
- Partner and support GTM teams on upsell and expansion opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (i.e. Sales, Account Management, Services, Support, Product, Marketing) to improve our customer’s ability to achieve positive business outcomes
Our take
Business contracting is often inefficient and messy, with approvals required from various stakeholders and many processes still paper-based. Ironclad is a platform that digitises, automates, and streamlines contract workflows, allowing legal teams to focus on legal work rather than paperwork. Its platform features collaborative tools that facilitate business operations and extract and catalogue contract metadata, making information easier to access and act upon. Its enterprise customers include Dropbox, Mastercard, Pixar, Fox, and L’Oréal.
Despite its success, Ironclad faces competition in the $3 billion contract lifecycle management industry from major players like DocuSign and emerging ones like Contractbook. The company recently announced Ironclad Signature, marking its entry into the $25 billion eSignature market. The new feature speeds up the signature process by an estimated 80% and provides summaries and approval histories to users. This new tool is expected to strengthen Ironclad's position in the sell-side contract lifecycle management market.
Additionally, Ironclad introduced value-based pricing, charging only for completed, signed agreements, unlike other providers who charge for every signature packet sent out. Ironclad, backed by investors like Accel, Sequoia, Y Combinator, and BOND, remains committed to innovating and maintaining its leadership in the contract lifecycle management space.
