- 3-5 year’s experience in full-cycle accounting
- CPA designation
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will take ownership of full-cycle accounting processes, compliance and be part of a collaborative and high performing team
- Reporting into the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the preparation of monthly closing processes and support our statutory audits
- Our team has a strong focus on process improvement and this role will have a significant impact in driving efficiency
- This role will directly impact business decisions through the preparation of accurate and timely financial information
- The Finance team is a key business partner to other departments that service our 2,000+ customers
- There will be many opportunities for the duties and role to scale as Loopio continues to grow
- Maintain the general ledger for our Canadian, US, UK, and Indian entities in accordance with the local (IFRS) and international accounting standards
- Assist in preparation of monthly consolidation tasks including reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company transactions
- Coordinate with the auditors and manage audit and tax related requests
- Identify and implement opportunities in process improvements and reporting in the month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Preparation of GST/HST/PST and VAT returns
- Continually execute internal controls, identify areas for process improvement and strengthen the control environment
- Support the team with administrative tasks, analysis, and financial projects
