Who you are
- This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, handle various tasks simultaneously while continuing a positive work culture
- Besides, great oral communication and written documentation skills are important for this role in promoting ideas throughout the company
- BS, or MS in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience required
- 9+ Years of Experience with 3+ years in management with a strong track record
- 3+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate
- Previous experience in Microservices and Spring boot
- Experience in fast-paced startup companies with high-velocity development and growing engineering team rapidly
- Strong technical skills with proficient people management skills
- Agile methodology background with scrum master experience
- Experience in performance management and running highly productive teams
- Strong SaaS/Cloud company background required
What the job involves
- Manage a team of software engineers with the responsibility to deliver core components for Saviynt Access Manager
- Hire senior developers and architects into the team along with a mix of more junior engineers
- Deliver software releases in an agile method at regular cadence with enterprise-level quality and performance
- Collaborate with peer managers, product managers, support and field teams
- Act as a Scrum Master for one or more teams
- Be hands-on with the product in terms of usability, testing, triage, and design aspects
- Supervise the delivery of high-quality, well-written code that is quickly understood and easily supported by others
- Participate in project core team meetings to discuss status, risks, and mitigation strategies across delivery teams
- Partner with Product Managers and Program Managers to define roadmaps and sprint planning objectives
- Define, manage, and report on key performance indicators that measure team performance against organizational objectives
- Provide mentorship to team members and build a strong teamwork culture
- Assess the performance of the team and provide feedback regularly
- Experience in managing the escalations and prioritizing the tickets by working closely with the teams

Sayvint’s Identity Governance and Administration platform helps secure access to corporate systems in the cloud such as Workday, Office 365, AWS, Salesforce, SAP and Hadoop. It was created to offer an innovative, modern solution as its founder believed that existing identity services were not optimized.
By spending its early years in stealth mode, developing its product technology and switching to a cloud based model, the company was well prepared for a quick up-scale. This has been achieved partly because of the fact that it favours targeting large companies, boasting clients like Marriott, BP, KuppingerCole and Toyota Connected.
Sayvint faces a major rival in the form of SailPoint, which was an earlier entrant in the space, and went public sooner. However, Sayvint is growing rapidly and has converted some notable customers from SailPoint in the process. The company has continually invested in its platform to maintain a competitive edge, earning industry recognition along the way, and has recently concentrated on securing new customers and growing its partner ecosystem.
