Who you are

Proficient with Kubernetes and/or Docker, preferably experience with GKE
Proficient with Google Cloud Platform or any major cloud platform--including experience with setting up and maintaining VMs, load balancing, containerization, certificates, etc
Experience with GitHub Actions and Argo or similar CI/CD tooling
Experience with Terraform or similar IaaS
Experience with monitoring SaaS services
Exposure to software testing and the software development lifecycle

What the job involves

Design and implement automated software builds, testing infrastructure, deployments, and associated monitoring
Contribute to CI/CD processes and infrastructure to facilitate faster deployment and testing times for software engineering teams
Contribute to planning and prioritization discussions
Facilitate onboarding customers from an infrastructure perspective

Having grown rapidly over the past few years, data warehouses are critical to decision-making, and help companies bring information together from different source systems. While there are plenty of options for data transformation, they each come with their own limitations, often allowing little flexibility and costing engineers considerable time.

Looking to fill this gap is Coalesce Automation, a San Francisco-based startup offering data transformation without the downsides. Managing and building transformations in the Snowflake data cloud, Coalesce is solving the largest bottleneck in analytics today through the combination of intuitive graphical user interfaces and code flexibility.

While Coalesce isn't the only player in the space, this hasn't slowed it down - the company has onboarded multiple Fortune 500 customers since launching in 2020. And with substantial funding raised in 2024, Coalesce is set to scale its business even further, backed by an ambitious roadmap that promises an exciting future ahead.
