Who you are

6+ years of experience owning and building automated test suites
Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
Experience with both E2E and regression testing
Experienced in writing / maintaining load tests
Strong knowledge of automated testing best practices
Solid knowledge of script writing and execution in Javascript
Experience with BDD testing, Cucumber / Gherkin is a plus
Continuously improve the test automation framework and test coverage based on feedback and analysis of test results
Experience writing thorough documentation that can be understood by less technical team members
Ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Have designed and implemented testing suites from scratch
Must be eligible to work in Canada

What the job involves

As a quality assurance engineer at Kira, you will play a key role in defining how we maintain the high quality of our applications
You will help design, implement, and maintain automated tests for our suite of applications using industry best practices
You will help identify, prioritize and execute on gaps in our current test and product coverage, and help guide both technical and non-technical teammates in proper testing techniques
This role plays an important part in our company’s success, and will help us define standards of quality
