Who you are
- Experience in creating and managing operational processes within the financial sector
- A strong understanding of post onboarding and regulatory compliance knowledge, within the financial sector
- Excellent team working skills, ability to manage own workload with tenacious attention to detail until completion
- Strong leadership and initiative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Salesforce and Zendesk are preferred
- Experience with Financial Crime controls in the Financial Technology (FinTech) sector is welcomed
- Ability to work in a methodical manner, meeting daily, weekly & monthly SLA objectives
- Ability to work independently on projects as required and communicate results effectively throughout the team
- Ability to prioritise work by taking the impact and scale of the work into consideration, as well as manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- The ability to cope well under pressure and come up with innovative solutions when issues arise
What the job involves
- Our Compliance department is looking for a talented Operations Analyst to join the Direct Client Review Team to assist with day to day client operations and ad-hoc projects. The job role requires a balance of operational/compliance focus, maintaining accurate logs of our direct clients activity
- Support the Direct Client Review Team with client off-boarding processes, leading tasks such as client communications and return of funds
- Ensure the frictionless operations of our clients off-boarding journey are met
- Ensuring that the off-boarding journey is in line with our regulatory and internal obligations
- Maintaining accurate logs of clients activity and providing reports to stakeholders
- Additionally, supporting post onboarding processes and the Direct Client Review team with KYC Refresh tasks
- Proactively flag any potential operational obstacles and provide a workable solution
- Participate in regular reviews of departmental procedures and identify potential areas for improvement
- Provide training to regular stakeholders when required
- Ability to work in a methodical manner, meeting daily, weekly & monthly SLA objectives
