Role
Who you are
- Agile product management experience in data products or business intelligence solutions for payments or a related financial services sectors preferred
- Experience leading a team of junior product managers, fostering skill development, mentoring, and providing career guidance
- Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership
- Knowledge and skills using product management tools (e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, business case development)
- Strong focus on delivering user and business value
- Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
- Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding products
- Experience managing client relationships to ensure customer success and adoption of new products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with sr. leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience
- Experience in commercial card industry and/or B2B payments a plus
- Technical background (e.g. Computer Science or related field) a plus
- Advanced degree a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our New Product Development team and serve as the product lead for our Commercial Rebates platform offered to commercial card issuers
- Our Product Managers bring the voice of the customer to Engineering, working closely with technical teams to maximize value across the portfolio within our agile scrum model
- In this role, you’ll lead a small team of product managers that provide business context to scrum teams and ensure the focus is on delivering value in accordance with strategic priorities
- You'll also have the opportunity to shape the go-to-market and strategy for the product, work closely with the sales team to enable growth, and work directly with active clients to ensure customer success
- Build revolutionary products that advance how businesses all over the world derive the most value from their data assets
- Translate a deep understanding of our customers into products and solutions that drive significant customer value
- Balance the long-term direction of a product with today’s needs and constraints by fully understanding the technical, competitive, and commercial contexts of our products
- Act as connectors to ensure the commercial success of our products by working with Sales and Marketing while ensuring technical success through close partnership with Technology teams
- Drive globally-relevant solutions by understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and build scalable products that serve an array of customer segments
- Set product direction with coordination, not isolation—taking into account how our products all work together to serve customer needs
