They also provide access to fair and secure ticket exchange programs so reselling happens through their platform.
Eventbrite prides itself as a market leader in ease of use for its hosts, but it faces pressure to provide a more complete offering in the face of innovative competitors like TicketFairy, Chumi and Stubhub. Furthermore, in the face of economic downturn and dwindling event sales, the company were forced to cut 8% of its workforce in February 2023, indicative of belt-tightening across the whole events sector.
