What the job involves

For engineers, we value your deep understanding of how bytes work
Your typical day involves prototyping a top-conference research paper, debugging and profiling in hexdecimal, or writing updates to coordinate asynchronously with tens of engineers in the open
Deploy and optimize Stable Diffusion models from Civit AI or Hugging Face
Develop voice + text chatbots as Telegram web clients with crypto payments
Research on generative transformers for news curation, abstractive summarization

Our take

Harmony is an open blockchain capable of running Ethereum transactions quickly and low-fee, that is hoping to help accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology around the world.

The company's main focus has been to tackle the blockchain "trilemma", that refers to the fact that blockchains struggle to optimize decentralization, security and scalability at once. It has approached this by innovating on already tested strategies, such as sharding and PBFT, as well as developing a novel Proof-of-Stake mechanism in-house.

Since launching in 2019, the Harmony mainnet has seen over 700,000 thousand transactions in native ONE tokens. As it expands operations, Harmony has its sights set on driving network utilization, developing finance primitives and delivering new products.
