Role
Who you are
- A professional with at least 2 years proven experience in the Venture Capital and Growth Equity Market (e.g. working at a Venture Capitalist, Accelerator, Investment Bank, Consulting firm)
- A track record of engaging and closing target customers with a consultative-selling approach at a decision making level
- A pro-active hunter and deal maker with listening skills that is passionate about getting results and delivering the best customer experience
- A networker within the startup world with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships
- The capability to analyse and assess pitch decks and financial models
- An entrepreneurial mindset that get things done
- Strong communication skills in English and fluency in other languages are a bonus
- Organized, structured and efficient
- Highly collaborative and flexible
What the job involves
- As a Sales Specialist you are part of the Issuer Led Transactions Desk and active in the Venture Capital and Growth Equity market. The Issuer Led Transactions Desk sells to and deals with start- and scale-up Founders raising Seed to Growth stage funding. As a Sales Associate you will be an essential part of our sales team help our growth as we scale globally
- For this role we are looking for an entrepreneurial team player that has experience in the Venture Capital and Growth Equity market. You have a network that you can leverage and are able to identify/engage with high quality companies intending to fundraise. You are a deal maker but also passionate about delivering the best customer experience
- Driving sales growth by identifying and targeting UK registered start- and scale ups raising Seed to Growth stage funding
- Building startup and scaleup founder relationships through ongoing networking, attending events and hosting webinars
- Understanding fundraising pain points, challenges and requirements
- Reading/reviewing business plans, pitch decks and financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement)
- Assessing the quality of the opportunity and fit with Floww
- Creating value propositions and proposals that meet customer’s fundraising needs and demonstrate the value of our offering
- Negotiating and closing deals to deliver growth in sales and margin
- Working closely together with Strategy, Operations, Compliance and the Transaction team to onboard companies raising on Floww

Floww was founded in 2016 by Martijn De Wever who, having made more than 160 investments himself, was fully aware of the need for a platform freeing the relationship between investors and startups from both cultural and racial bias while building a solid foundation of clean data, merit and transparency.
Floww charges a monthly fee to VCs, family offices, accelerators and PE firms. Startups have free access to a suite of tools and materials to get started, from cap table templates to “How To” guides, with the chance to sign up for a premium model to contact multiple VCs. A startup’s digital profile includes dynamic charts and tables, allowing potential investors to fully understand the company’s business.
