Role
Who you are
- Active Series 7 and 66 or Series 65 licenses
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a registered investment advisory firm or broker-dealer, with direct experience working with financial advisors
- 3+ years of experience trading client portfolios using portfolio management and trading software
- Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing client portfolios, including developing and implementing investment strategies
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and investment products, with the ability to apply this knowledge to portfolio strategies and client solutions
- A proactive mindset with a passion for ownership and accountability, eager to make a meaningful impact on the firm’s growth and operational success
- Enthusiasm for working in the fintech space, with a desire to be at the forefront of innovation in wealth management technology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively while maintaining attention to detail
Desirable
- Advanced degrees or designations such as CFP or CFA
- Prior experience working with custodians such as Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, or Pershing Advisor Services
What the job involves
- As the Investment Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing Savvy’s centralized trading infrastructure
- Leading the continued development, implementation, and optimization of Savvy’s internal trading systems, ensuring the seamless execution of client portfolios
- Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution of Savvy’s flagship SWIM (Savvy Wealth Investment Management) program, with a focus on enhancing and expanding its offerings for Savvy’s clients
- Proactively managing and overseeing all trading operations, from monitoring portfolio performance to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Serving as a primary resource for financial advisors, providing expert support on complex investment inquiries and executing high-level client requests efficiently
- Collaborating closely with Operations, Product, and Advisory teams to drive innovation and enhance investment processes and systems
- Ensuring compliance with all investment-related policies and regulatory standards, safeguarding the integrity of client portfolios and operations
