Role
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally working on activation, onboarding, growth, or user journey problems
- You’ve shipped product experiences end-to-end and are comfortable owning a problem from discovery through execution and iteration
- You have hands-on experience with experimentation and A/B testing, and know how to learn quickly from results
- You have strong product and design sensibility, with a good eye for UX and well-crafted user experiences
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and know how to collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and researchers
- You’re analytical but pragmatic, comfortable using data to inform decisions without losing sight of user needs
- You communicate clearly and can explain complex ideas in a simple, structured way
- You’re curious, proactive, and motivated by helping users succeed and get real value from the product
- Experience in a SaaS, consumer, or creator-focused product is a plus, but not required

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Product Manager for Activation and Engagement to help new users get value from VEED, accomplish their video goals, and build a habit of using the product
- This role is for a product manager who enjoys solving complex user journey problems, balancing strategy with execution, and turning insights into impactful product experiences
- You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and researchers, and collaborate with other product managers and cross-functional partners to build intuitive, effective first-time and early-life experiences
- Your mission: help users succeed from day one. From their first interaction to their first successful video (and beyond), your work will shape how users experience VEED and whether they come back to use it again
- Own the Activation experience for new VEED users, helping them get to value quickly and build a habit of using VEED
- Define and evolve the activation strategy and roadmap, grounded in user needs, product vision, and business goals
- Design and ship high-impact first-time and early-life experiences that guide users to successful outcomes (e.g. creating, editing, or generating a video)
- Work end-to-end across discovery, delivery, and iteration, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and Research
- Collaborate with other Product Managers and stakeholders across Product, Growth, Marketing and Monetization to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user journey
- Run experiments and A/B tests to validate hypotheses, improve activation and early retention, and continuously optimize key flows
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights (funnels, cohorts, user research, experiment results) to identify opportunities and measure impact
- Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes to stakeholders, using data and user insights to drive alignment and momentum

Video is the fastest-growing form of content on the internet, with 78% of people watching online videos every week, and 55% every day. Editing video, however, remains a pain point for creators and marketers alike – who have to rely on bloated legacy platforms, the same tools used for feature films.
VEED is an online tool that aims to make video editing as simple as possible. With a user interface stripped down to the bare essentials, VEED allows creators and marketers to edit videos, add subtitles and credits, and share and distribute the end product. By specifically focusing on the needs of a social media-first audience, the founding team have created a product that integrates seamlessly with key platforms and can be used without training.
The platform has grown significantly since its launch in 2018, and now boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, and month-to-month growth. The founders have ambitious growth plans for the coming decade as they build out their team and grow their user base to become the online video editing platform of choice.
