What the job involves

This Kiva internship is a 6-month, part-time (24 - 32 hours per week), United States-based, remote volunteer position
The Marketing Creative Insights Intern will help the Marketing team analyze and document creative trends across Kiva’s email campaigns
This role bridges creativity and strategy—organizing our visual archive, studying engagement data, and identifying what makes our emails resonate with readers
Ideal for someone interested in how copywriting, design, and storytelling intersect with data-driven marketing, this internship offers hands-on experience in creative analysis, Figma organization, campaign insight development, email reporting, and data analysis
Audit and organize past Kiva email designs in Figma
Analyze email performance using Looker, Google Sheets, and Iterable
Tag and document creative elements (tone, imagery, CTAs, structure) across campaigns
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to analyze and compare engagement data against creative elements
Participate in creative brainstorms
Explore story archives to find inspiring quotes and story snippets for future campaigns
Research competitor email marketing campaigns
Create an “Insights Report” identifying trends and translating into creative recommendations for future campaigns
Lead campaign retrospectives, summarizing creative performance, key learnings, and actionable recommendations for future tests
The weekly time commitment for a Kiva Internship is 24-32 hours per week, from January 13, 2026 - June 30, 2026. Please make sure you have the availability to commit to the entire internship period before submitting an application
