Role
Who you are
- Solid experience in Product Management and in building Cloud environments, particularly Azure IaaS
- Experience working with Kubernetes, functions, cluster management
- Experience of working closely with agile development teams, knowledge of Scrum, Kabhan
- Experience in AI/ML and the Model Development Lifecycle
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong project management understanding, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Strong influencing skills to drive a direct and indirect team to execute product strategy
- Degree Educated BSc CompSci or related field
Desirable
- Experience working in a start-up/FinTech environment
- Experience in scaling products from zero to thousands of customers and use-cases
- Experience in the full Microsoft Cloud Stack, AzureML, Synapse
- Proven understanding of global financial markets and the specific user workflows across Quantitative Analytics and Risk Management
- Proven experience of delivering products that use analytics & financial data
What the job involves
- This role sits within he Analytics Platform - Compute and Modelling team, which has the responsibility to build a green-field Financial Modelling and Analytical Product Suite
- The Product Manager’s focus will be to create a series of comprehensive compute environment(s) that service the secure multi-tenancy, isolation and segregation of users. Including cluster management and processing configurability for GPU and TPUs supporting thousands analytical models in an optimal manner
- The environments will be built for large banks to hedge funds and everything in-between and will contain all aspects of the Model Development Lifecycle (MDLC) from Data Preparation, Build, Test and Training through to Deployment and Use
- Create and own a roadmap for construction of several Computational Services to support Financial Modelling As-a-Service and Analytics-as-a-Service
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements for the Compute Services
- Execute the Compute Services roadmap with an Agile Team of Engineers and DevOps
- Support the migration and implementation of applications and analytical models onto the created services
- Create a Target Operating Model for the Compute Services, including roles and responsibilities, operating level agreements and service level agreements
- Publication of whitepapers and other artefacts as required
- Collaboration with product, engineers, designers, QA and delivery managers
