Role
Who you are
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript
- At least 2 years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native
- Good understanding of React Native components, APIs and third-party libraries
- Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns and good practices
- Experience with publishing apps to the mobile stores (Android, iOs)
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards
- You have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
- You might not be experienced in all of these technologies, but you are still awesome and should join our team
Desirable
- You created a working app on Thunkable
- You have experience with Automation tools
- You have a passion for well designed experiences and good UX
- You have an interest in what happens in React Native under the hood (the bridge, Fabric, etc)
- Experience with GraphQL(Apollo)Experience with Expo
- You have experience and interest in QA/Testing
- You have experience in small startup environments
What the job involves
- Assist in the development and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native framework
- Assist in optimizing application performance and identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks
- Develop new features and enhancements for our mobile applications using React Native framework
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve technical problems as they arise

The company’s Series B funding round was led by Owl Ventures and had support from DJ Diplo (Thomas Pentz). Thunkable is focusing on enhancing third-party integration, improving native device functions (like NFC and Bluetooth), and boosting shareability & collaboration. With recent design and accessibility innovations, such as its Figma import capabilities, Thunkable is a game-changer in the no-code space.
